With a $50 million renovation of both the arena and the adjacent Lexington Convention Center this multi-use entertainment, convention, and shopping complex has been transformed to meet the demands of the most discerning presenter.

University of Kentucky Basketball Home to University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball, Rupp Arena offers dozens of staging and seating configurations for all types of events. Need space for a circus? This multi-function facility seats up to 23,000 people. Looking for an intimate concert setting? With our special curtaining system, we offer spaces customized to accommodate as few as 2,300 or can adapt to meet your projected attendance.

The arena offers outstanding power availability and exceptional sound and lighting systems. There are modern concession areas and a generous parking space for trucks and buses with easy access to seven recessed loading docks and in close proximity to dressing rooms and other key backstage areas.

But what really sets Rupp apart from all other arenas is the quality of staff and service. "We are constantly hearing from tech crews that they love coming to Rupp Arena because of the dedication and professionalism of our people," said Carl Hall, Director of Arena Management.

You get a clear idea of just how versatile we're prepared to be by checking out some of the widely varied acts that have made recent appearances in our arena, from the Harlem Globetrotters and Disney on Ice to Tim McGraw & Faith Hill.

Kenny Chesney The recent Rodney Carrington show, which took place in the intimate Theater setting at Rupp Arena, impressed PMG Entertainment promoter Michael Goldstein. “I was amazed with the feel of the room for that show,” said Goldstein. “The reduced sized setting was the perfect ambiance for this performance. “Best of all,” noted Carl Hall, “if a show sells out quickly, we can make last minute adjustments to expand our seating to accommodate heavy demand.”

Indeed, its location at the intersection of Interstates 64 and 75 and within a day's drive of 75% of the US population, conveniently places Lexington and Rupp Arena at the heart of one of America's most traveled crossroads. And one that also happens to afford touring casts and crews the warm hospitality for which Kentucky is so famous.

Quality, convenience, and professional service in one of the nation's most beautiful settings.

It's what you need. It's what we offer.
